6. Web analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, an audience measurement service provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The service is cookie-free: it sets no cookies, uses no local storage and assigns no identifiers that could be used to recognise individual visitors across page views or websites. No usage profile is created.

Only aggregated metrics are collected: the page requested, the referring page, browser type, operating system, approximate country of origin and load times. To count a visit, a script is loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com. For technical reasons your IP address is transmitted to Cloudflare in the process, but it is neither stored there nor used for recognition.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the statistical evaluation of usage in order to improve this website. As no information is stored on or read from your device, consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG is not required and no cookie banner is needed.

Cloudflare is also the host of this website (see section 2), so no additional processor is involved. Where personal data is transferred to a third country (USA), the provider has agreed appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR (EU standard contractual clauses). 7. Fonts

This website uses the font “Jost”, which is hosted locally on the server (self-hosting). No connection to third-party servers is established in order to render the fonts.
